Refund policy
Non-returnable items / Exceptions
Certain types of items cannot be returned such as personalised goods: Save the Dates, Invitations, Wedding Day Stationery (like menu’s, place cards, etc.), and personalised cards. These items have been personalised with your name, date, and details so cannot be resold.
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Returnable Items
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Please be aware you are responsible for the cost of return postage. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Damages or Issues
Please examine orders received from us immediately upon receipt. You must tell us of any defect or problem within 7 days of receipt to hello@handmadebyzara.co.uk so that we can assess the situation.
If a defect is found then we shall: repair or replace the Goods, or refund the full cost you have paid including the cost of returning the Goods.
Please Note: Our Goods are hand-made and are therefore unique products. Part of the character and nature of such Goods is that they are subject to colour and shade variations. Colours shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Therefore, a defect shall not include: Colour variations, natural variations, or errors not identified by you the proof has been approved.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 21 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
